Returns, Shipping & Refunds policy
When we receive your order, our staff in Tehachapi will get to work to fulfill it!
Your order will typically ship out within three business days. Please note that we are closed on weekends and most National Holidays. If you place an order on those days, it will not be processed until the next business day. When your order ships, you will receive tracking information with an estimated delivery time. Transit times are not guaranteed.
How do I track my order?
After you place your order, you will receive automated email messages with updates and tracking information throughout the process of your order.
How do I receive free shipping?
We offer free standard shipping on all US orders $50 and above.
**We do not offer the $5 flat rate or free shipping outside the contiguous U.S., or on expedited shipping.
What if I used the wrong address?
Please contact us asap to see if we can update the address and reroute it. But if it goes unnoticed, and additional shipping charges are incurred it will be the responsibility of the customer, not Tehachapi Mountain Coffee Roasting Company to pay for this. Shipments that received free shipping that are returned to sender will be refunded minus a 10% handling fee.
What is your return policy?
Tehachapi Mountain Coffee Roasting Company can exchange non-perishable merchandise within 30 days of purchase. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exempt from being returned are perishable goods, such as coffee. To start the return process of if there is an issue with the perishable goods you have received or you are not completely satisfied please contact us @tehachapimountaincoffee@gmail.com

What if my order is damaged or has an issue?
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. Photo documentation of the damage is super helpful to provide when possible so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
When will I get my refund?
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, You are entitled to cancel your order within 7 days without giving any reason for doing so.
The deadline for canceling an order is 7 days from the date you received the goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.
In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement.

We will reimburse you no later than 30 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.
Returning Goods:
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
Gifts:
If the goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the goods weren't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give it to you later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
